I’m Dr. Mary Robb
Hi, I’m Mary, founder and teacher of Brooklyn Cello School located in beautiful Park Slope. My mission is to equip students with the skills to become confident solo musicians and versatile ensemble players. Drawing on my background as a musician and educator for over two decades, I specialize in working with dedicated high school musicians, preparing them for auditions, and guiding them in creating recordings for college applications.
I also teach middle school cellists how to excel in Arts High School auditions. Combining solid technique with deep musicality, my students become confident solo and ensemble cellists who develop a lifelong love of music. At the Brooklyn Cello School, they become versatile musicians who know how to collaborate and perform in any number of ensembles.
